Hunter Valley Just North of Sydney

Australia’s oldest, most visited wine region is an easy two-hour drive north of Sydney. There are over 100 cellar doors to visit, with the best varieties here being Semillon, Shiraz and Chardonnay. Verdelho, Merlot and Chamboucin are also emerging and several of the wineries are now producing very acceptable wines.

Click on the link at the bottom of the map to open with a list of wineries and more functionality for viewing and searching.

We created this map because we could not find anything like this when we went to visit the Hunter Valley NSW Australia. If you click on the links it will take you to an overview of information, so you can find what type of wine a vineyard produces, who have bbq areas, cellar doors and accommodation plus also disability access. 1. Hello,
I found your blog quite by accident and thought you would be interested in a new wine directory. You can find more information regarding the wine book project - The Worldwide Guide to Earth Friendly Wines and the people behind the vines at:

    http://www.millenniumstarpublishing.com/Wine_Splash.htm

If you have contacts of local wineries, vineyards, winemakers, etc who support organic, biodynamic and sustainable methods and practices, please forward that information so they can be included in this new book. There is no charge at all.

Thank you for your time and interest.
